Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FinderPress collects, why it is used, and the choices available when you visit our store or use EngageDock AI Pro services.

On this page Scope Data collected How data is used Sharing Retention Your rights Contact

Effective date: July 31, 2026. This document is a practical privacy template and should be reviewed for the jurisdictions and tools used by your production website.

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to FinderPress websites, the EngageDock AI Pro product pages, licensing services, customer portal, support requests, and related communications. FinderPress, operated by Ravi Khadka (“we,” “us,” or “our”), controls the personal data described here except where another provider acts as an independent controller.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, company, and account details.
  • License, website-domain, activation, and product-support information.
  • Messages, ticket content, attachments, and other information you send to us.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser, device, operating system, referring page, and basic server logs.
  • Website usage events needed for security, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and service operation.
  • License verification details such as product ID, plugin version, site URL, and activation status.

We do not intentionally collect payment-card details. Checkout and transaction data are processed by Paddle when Paddle is used as the merchant of record.

3. How we use information

  • Deliver downloads, licenses, updates, rollback access, and support.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts and verify authorised installations.
  • Respond to enquiries, investigate errors, and secure our services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our product terms.
  • Send essential service messages and, where permitted, product communications.

Where applicable, processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent.

4. Service providers and sharing

We may share limited information with providers that help operate the store, licensing server, hosting, email, security, analytics, support, and payment services. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role and are subject to their own data-protection obligations.

Paddle processes checkout, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and buyer-support information under Paddle’s own privacy policy when Paddle handles a transaction. We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect users or services, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and local storage

Our websites may use essential cookies or local storage for sign-in, checkout, preferences, security, and session continuity. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should only be enabled with the notice and consent required in the visitor’s jurisdiction.

6. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, contractual and tax records, dispute handling, security, and applicable law. Support and license records may be retained while a license remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted network transport, signed license verification, and restricted administrative access. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security purposes.

8. International processing and children

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used. Our commercial software and store are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email support@developerravi.com. For privacy questions concerning a Paddle transaction, review Paddle’s privacy information.
